2024年6月19日，我国首个工业用途核能供汽项目——“和气一号”，在中核集团旗下中国核电投资控股的田湾核电基地正式建成投产。这标志着我国核能综合利用从单一发电、满足城市居民供暖，拓展到工业供汽领域。项目建成后，田湾核电基地将每年向连云港石化产业基地输送480万吨零碳清洁蒸汽，相当于每年减少燃烧标准煤40万吨，等效减排二氧化碳107万吨、二氧化硫184吨、氮氧化物263吨。
