国际农业经济学家协会（IAAE）网站消息，2021年6月8日IAAE提名委员会正式提名樊胜根、Matin Qaim为IAAE主席候选人。目前是中国农业大学演讲主席教授、全球粮食经济与政策研究院（AGFEP）院长；Matin Qim目前是德国哥廷根大学教授。选举投票将在2021年6月28日-7月25日间进行，只有2020-22阶段正式会员注册和终生荣誉会员资格投票。
